In Person
Within the Sunday service, we give the opportunity for you to contribute to an offering, either by a 'tap and go' card machine, or with cash or a cheque via secure black drop boxes situated inside the church.
We also run an envelope scheme that allows you to set aside an offering each week into a sealed envelope, which you can then place in the drop boxes at any time. This is great for budgeting, or if you miss a service, and also allows for Gift Aid claims on these offerings.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
Gift Aid
If you pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK, we can claim back 25p on every £1 you donate through the Gift Aid scheme. To permit us to do this, please complete this Gift Aid Declaration.
If you pay tax above the basic rate, you can personally claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation (25%). You can do this either through your self-assessment tax return or by asking HMRC to amend your tax code.
If you have any questions regarding gift aid or any of the above, please email finance@shirleybaptist.org.uk.
