Journey out of Lockdown
Shirley Baptist Church, like other churches, has been increasing the activities which take place in the church building alongside the Government easing of restrictions.
We are pleased to say that many of our children’s and youth activities are now taking place in the building, and Kairos Coffee is open Wednesdays to Saturdays. Sunday services are taking place in the building (current capacity 50-60), but are also online as a livestream and catchup.
Looking ahead, our expectation is that from 25th July we will have significantly larger numbers in the building, including all our Sunday morning children’s activities. We will still continue with the livestream, so it will always be possible to access our Sunday morning service online live at 10.00am or later by watching the recording.
Current arrangements are as follows:
Our normal pattern on Sunday mornings is that there is a SBCKids programme which is available online from 9.00am, a SBCWorship service with both on-site attendance and livestreamed at 10.00am and a SBCYouth session which can be accessed by contacting the Church Office in the first instance.
Links for each of these can be found below, and details of the upcoming SBCWorship services can be found here.
We also have a Zoom ‘Coffee and Connect’ following the service, and the link for this is available from the Church Office.
Many regular activities are now taking place in the building, and others will resume in the near future. If you would like more information then please email the church office on firstname.lastname@example.org.
