Sundays

What to Expect

Our morning service is at 10.00 a.m. and is open to everyone. The church is usually quite full for this service and everyone is together for the first part. After about 20 minutes the children and young people go into other parts of the building for their own activities. Details of the children's and youth activities can be found on the tabs on the left. The service includes the singing of modern songs and traditional hymns, prayers and a sermon which is based on a passage from the Bible and relates the Christian faith to daily living. An offering is taken but we stress that there is no expectation that visitors will give money unless they wish to do so.

We also meet at 6.30 p.m. and have a wider range of services with different seating layouts, styles of music and forms of presentation. These services are less formal but are equally open to everyone.

Words of songs and hymns, Bible readings and sermon outlines are usually presented on the large screens, along with other media files which form part of the services. We do our best to have paper copies of most of this material available for those who need it.

If communion is included, then everyone is welcome to be part of this event, and the person leading worship will usually explain that all those who are sincere believers and genuine seekers are invited to take the token bread and wine which is distributed during the service.
