Romania project As part of our church's commitment to serve those who are in need, a group of young people went to Romania in July 2009 for a week of mission to work with Project Ruth (www.projectruth.ro). Check out the link to see what Project Ruth get up to. Whilst out there, the group ran a holiday club in the mornings, repainted the Project Ruth school in the afternoons and got more than a taste of Romanian culture. We kept a diary while we were out there, which you can read here!
Soul Survivor - Every year a group of 20+ go from SBC to Soul Survivor (www.soulsurvivor.com/uk/index.html). We camp together with 10,000 other young people and spend a week worshipping God and hearing God's word explained. We have a great time as a group and individually many of us have been deeply changed by the week.
Oasis Camp - This is a camp run in the summer which over 30 of us attend every year. Based in a boarding school in Norfolk, it's a week of fun and games, worship and Bible teaching. It's a fantastic opportunity to get to know more young people from SBC and other local churches, as well as several of the leaders!
