Crossroads A ministry run by local churches taking food and clothing to those who are sleeping rough in the centre of Birmingham. SBC is responsible for providing teams on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month.

Traidcraft There is a facility to purchase a range of fair traded goods in the entrance area to the church.

Tuesdays at 2 is a social group which aims to provide a welcoming and friendly environment for retired people to meet, chat, and play board games, table tennis and pool.  In the future we hope to provide additional activities/trips depending on people’s interests. There is a small weekly charge of £1 which includes tea/coffee and homemade cakes. You can be assured of a very warm welcome on Tuesdays between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Cycling Shirley Freewheelers is a social cycling group set up by two of our members for the benefit of our regulars and their friends. The rides are usually fortnightly, either on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, between March and November. Details are on their website: www.shirleyfreewheelers.org.uk

Men's Breakfast Fancy a hearty breakfast at a local venue with an inspiring speaker? This event happens several times a year (January, May and September/October). For further information, please email or contact Ian Deaville via the church office.
